Great Occasions Wedding Coordination services are flexible and accommodating, whether you just need a few pointers or do not know where to start. Priced at industry standards, the time and stress freed to you is invaluable.

Consulting – hourly service offering the opportunity to consult with a wedding professional about any aspect of the wedding or planning. Initial consults are $150 for 2 hours; subsequent hours are $50/hour.

Wedding Day Direction – also known as “Month-of Coordination”, this service begins 4-6 weeks before the wedding. The couple has planned their wedding and informs the coordinator of all the work they have done thus far: providing copies of all contracts the couple has signed with various vendors (professionals serving the wedding, for example, a photographer), and contact information for all parties involved. Together we then finalize a complete breakdown of the wedding day so that you can enjoy your special day knowing a professional is overseeing all of the details. On the wedding day, the coordinator manages “behind the scenes” of the ceremony, photography session, and reception, keeping to the created plan.
This service starts at $800.

The amount of information a coordinator needs to be prepared to oversee the big day inhibits Great Occasions from providing “Day-of Coordination”, as the wedding coordinator needs to be filled in well in advance of the day of. Wedding Coordination (Full or Partial) – This collaborative process between the couple and the coordinator involves the most management over the wedding planning and day-of direction. Monthly meetings as the big day approaches keep everyone clear on what steps happen next. As needed, includes:

  • assistance with invitations and stationary
  • assistance with budget
  • selection and coordination of vendors
  • floor plan design
  • creative consult, decor planning, and development of your vision
  • coordination of set up and tear down
  • coordination of ceremony and reception
  • overseeing the photo session (ensuring dress is arranged nicely, photogenic placing of wedding party, etc)
  • and much more

If you are newly engaged with few other arrangements made and plenty of time before the wedding, you may wish to utilize full wedding coordination. Partial coordination is perfect for the couple that has secured the wedding date, ceremony & reception venues, and caterer, for example, and wants someone to intervene now to take over from here. You have booked the ‘big things’ and made the major decisions and want someone else to look after the ‘little things’ that pile up in the remaining months before the wedding. Partial coordination meets you where you are at, and fills in anything that is missing.
